You can just go for a walk around the village to see the lovely
frescos, and the wonderful havelis, or can have a close look at
the village life-style of Mandawa. The Castle Mandawa has so many
things for entertainment, they have indoor & outdoor games, pool,
mini-theater, folk music & dance are organised very often in the
evening. You can also enjoy the horse safari, village safari in
camel cart, jeep or on the camel's back. And that's not all you
can also go for shopping in the local markets.
Places Around Mandawa
Nawalgarh :: Just 24 kms away from mandawa, the small village has
some lovely havelis with fresco paintings. The main havelies are
Poddar Haveli, Muraka, Kulwal, Aath havelis and the Gangamai
Mandawale.
Dunload :: 19kms from Mandawa, it has few interesting haveli &
murals, dont miss the Dundload Fort, located inthe center of the
town, this two centuries old fort is owned by the thakur of
Dundload, now converted in to the a heritage hotel, the Diwan
khana is worth to see, it houeses the old ornamnets, books, &
other things.
Mukandgarh fort :: The old fort has a nice blend of Rajput &
British architecture. The hotel is now converted in to a heritage
hotel. The restaurant has few good frescos.
