The Royal Desert Camp is an exclusive desert
camp located in the sand dunes of Pushkar which is set up
during the world famous Pushkar Fair which is held every year
during Kartik Poornima. The Royal Desert Camp is an effort to
recreate the royal way of caravaning just like the Maharajas
of yore used to travel with their paraphernalia and entourage.
The Royal Desert Camp is a 4-star luxury camp, designed on the
patterns of safari camps of the erstwhile Mughal and Rajput
rulers. Managed by the famous Hotel Pushkar Palace, the Desert

The Royal Desert Camp offers a total of 234
spacious and well-appointed cottages, consisting of 54 deluxe
and 180 Swiss cottages. All luxurious cottages are furnished
with best quality linen, furniture, and velvety carpet, and are
provided with amenities such as hot air blowers, attached bath
with 24-hr running H/C water and specially designed modern
toilets.

The Royal Desert Camp organizes an exciting
evening campfire, full of interesting cultural performances of
folk music, dances, puppet shows, camel parades and cocktails.
Guests can also enjoy free camel cart ride up to the mela (fair)
ground. The Camp also arranges exciting camel and jeep ride for
wildlife safaris and sightseeing tour. Other facilities and
services available at the Camp include 24-hr Travel desk,
Laundry services, Doctor on call, Car rental, STD/ISD telephone,
Currency exchange, safe deposit lockers, Major Credit card
accepted, and Parking facilities.
